Queen of Riches Megaways Review
Queen of Riches Megaways is one of the very first megaways slots ever made, and is of course a game from Big Time Gaming. Although it has never really caught on with most players, we think it does have some nice game elements. In addition, it has a high payout percentage and you can win hefty prizes with it. Read on to learn everything about this slot machine.
Where to play Queen of Riches Megaways for real money?
RTP en Variance
The RTP, or return to player, for this game is 96.9%. This means that the casino returns this percentage of all bets back to the players. The volatility or variance is high. A high volatility means that you win less frequently, but large amounts.
The design is sleek, and in the background you can see a number of typical things that express the theme of ‘antiquity'. In addition, the playing field consists of the usual 6 reels, and directly at the top of this you see the number of megaways. You can find all options you have at the bottom of the playing field. At the bottom left you can choose your bet and the menu, while the ‘spin' button and autoplay button are on the right. At the very bottom of the screen you will find your balance, the amount you win, and the number of ways you win something.
How does Queen of Riches Megaways work?
So there are 6 reels and a maximum of 7 symbols can appear on them. This allows you to end up with a maximum number of 117,649 megaways per spin, as with most megaways games. The idea that winning combinations explode is unfortunately not yet an issue with this slot machine. You can form these combinations from the first reel, and with most symbols you only win once you have the same symbol on at least the first 3 reels. Furthermore, it is hoped that you will reach the bonus round, but we describe it in more detail below.
How do you play Queen of Riches Megaways?
Step 1 is choosing a bet, where you can choose between a number of values between 0.20 and 10 euros. After this the game can begin and there is 1 more choice that you can make. You can choose to set the autoplay function for a certain number of turns, so you don't have to press yourself every time. Then you actually have little influence on what is to come, and we hope you have luck on your side!
The Symbols / The Prices
In general, it does not really matter whether you form combinations with the basic or premium symbols, except for 1 symbol. Large and more frequent combinations with the basic symbols are sometimes more profitable. Below is an overview of the symbols, which we have placed in a number of categories. The payouts listed are for a ‘6 of a kind':
- There are 6 basic symbols, consisting of the card symbols 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A. These pay 0.5x, 0.6x, 0.75x, 1x, 1.25x, and 1.5x, respectively.
- There are 4 premium symbols consisting of green, blue, and red characters and a pyramid. The latter is by far the most valuable and will give you 50x your stake back with 6 of the same. The other premium symbols pay back between 1.75x and 6x your stake.
- The wild symbol only occurs by filling entire reels, and plays a particularly important role in this game. As always, it can replace all symbols, and you can read more about the feature that comes with it below.
What we really appreciate are the so-called ‘Full Reel Wilds', with which a whole reel is filled with a wild. They do not appear as individual squares and carry a multiplier. As always, it can substitute for any of the above symbols, and the multiplier increases per winning combination. The maximum of this multiplier is x7, but when you use 2 reels filled with a wild, the multipliers multiply. This allows you to get a 7×7 = 49x multiplier for example. They only appear on reels 2 through 6.
Reel Clone Feature
This feature pops up at random times and ensures that at least 2 reels are identical to each other. In principle, this could also apply to 6 reels, which guarantees great prizes. Together with the ‘full reel wilds' this is the feature with which you have to take the prizes, since there is no real free spins bonus or anything.
Max win & Rating
The maximum win of Queen of Riches Megaways is 20,000x your stake, so you can win really nice amounts. The game scores on average with 3/5 stars.
Let's start with the excellent payout rate of almost 97% which is definitely a plus. Nevertheless, we still miss the bonus round, because this is often the most fun part. The other features that now fill this role are nice by the way, but we miss the idea that you can unlock something. Hence the average score.
